Mornings in the kitchen

The kitchen is brushed steel and stone, open to the south windows, and built for a party that cooks for itself. A private chef can be arranged for any night of the stay, and a caretaker will stock the house before you arrive.

A small cellar, chosen for the valley

Vals quartzite and oak, a tasting ledge, and a list that stays close to home: Valais reds from the Rhône terraces, Fendant from the slopes below Sion, and a short row of Burgundy for the nights that ask for it.

Breakfast on the south terrace

In summer the table moves outside. The heated lower terrace runs the full south face and holds a wood-fired oven and a long oak table for fourteen, with the valley falling away below it.
