Sauna, plunge, treatment room

The sauna faces the valley through a full-height south window. Beside it, a small treatment room for booked massage, and a stone cold plunge fed from spring water that runs at four to eight degrees through the winter.

The cedar hot tub

Held at 38°C on the lower terrace, it is the most-used feature of the house from October to April. Steam, the Rhône valley, and the lights of Sion coming on one at a time.

  • Sauna and plunge are heated year round.
  • Massage is booked in advance through the caretaker.
  • Towels and robes are in every room.

Arrive, then stop moving

Most guests find they use the terrace more than the pistes. That is allowed.
