The sauna faces the valley through a full-height south window. Beside it, a small treatment room for booked massage, and a stone cold plunge fed from spring water that runs at four to eight degrees through the winter.

On the lower terrace
Held at 38°C on the lower terrace, it is the most-used feature of the house from October to April. Steam, the Rhône valley, and the lights of Sion coming on one at a time.
- Sauna and plunge are heated year round.
- Massage is booked in advance through the caretaker.
- Towels and robes are in every room.
